They shall neither hunger nor thirst, Neither heat nor sun shall strike them; For He who has mercy on them will lead them, Even by the springs of water He will guide them. —ISAIAH 49:10
Some days ago we confessed that we will not lack because of our shepherd and that we are provided for. One of the ways God provides for us is by leading us to where he has prepared provision. And we see this in our text today. God is saying that we will not hunger because He will lead us to streams.
We have an example of that in 1 Kings 17. Elijah called a drought in Israel, lack and famine was looming and God led him to a brook and sent ravens to bring him food. When the water there dried, he sent him to meet a widow in Zarephat and even when he ran from Jezebel God gave him food that sustained him for 40 days. Every step of the way God provided for him and He will do the same for you.
God will lead you to streams. He will lead you to springs of living water. And in those places, you will find supply. For some of you, that means that God is leading you to new business opportunities or ideas. He is leading you on how to package your knowledge so you can profit off of it. And as you follow His lead you will find provision.
Declare over yourself
I am led to springs of abundance. I am led to springs’ endless supply. I will not suffer hunger, thirst or lack in any area of my life. The spirit of the Lord is leading me to the springs of abundance positioned and provided by God. In Jesus’ name.
