YOU ARE EXEMPTED

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

As a Believer, you have to know it like you know your name, you are not of this world! You are from another kingdom. You are living in this world as a representative and a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. As we know, every representative of a nation has diplomatic immunity. This enables them to operate in a foreign country without having to be subjected to the laws of that nation. Should they commit an offense they cannot even be prosecuted in that nation. That immunity exempts them.

Exempted and Immune

You also have immunity. You can live on earth but the earth has no jurisdiction over you. Whatever is happening on earth, you can be separated from it. When there is pain all around the earth you can be separated from it. When people are losing left and center, you are separated from it. When thousand and ten thousand are falling, you’re dancing legwork in the middle. When there’s a casting down, you’re not only lifted up but you are lifting others too. What cuts others doesn’t cut you because you have been exempted.

Personally, I have experienced this exemption. When I was applying for my master’s program, I was required to have 5 years of management experience and to go to the ministry of education in Abuja to convert my results from a four-point GPA (which Francophone countries use) to a five-point GPA result (which we use here in Nigeria). I had been in management but in church and that wasn’t CV worthy, they needed blue-collar experience, and going to Abuja from Benin Republic was way more than I could afford at the time. But God gave me a word from Luke 1:46-55

And Mary said, I’m bursting with God-news; I’m dancing the song of my Savior God. God took one good look at me, and look what happened—I’m the most fortunate woman on earth. What God has done for me will never be forgotten

My admission was approved and I didn’t have to fake a blue-collar employment letter, nor did I have to travel. I was the only one who had this favour in my class.

Not Near You

You have to understand that when God says a thousand shall fall at your right hand, He’s trying to say that you will be exempt from anything that is happening around you because you dwell in the secret place. You do not operate from where everyone else is operating. 

This immunity does not mean that every single day is going to be a happy-go-lucky day for you. It just means that; whatsoever pain or problem won’t affect you the way it affected other people. The Night terrors that other people faced you won’t face; fears will envelop the world but you will have peace. Everything about you is going to be different. If there’s a problem in the land, you will see only solutions. If there’s lack in the land, your barn is full. If there is pain in the land, it cannot come near you. 

So if what is going on in the world is making you fearful, you need to understand that is not your cup of tea. You are not a partaker. Be confident in this that your business is separate, your children are separate, your land is separate; it will not come near you.

Walk around with this revelation because you dwell in the secret place of the Highest and you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 

Pray

Heavenly Father, thank you for the immunity that you have given me through Jesus. Through your Spirit, help me remember that I am exempted, especially on the days when the fears are overwhelming. I ask that your government protect and remind me of who I am.  I declare that I am not a partaker of what is happening around me, my finances are exempt from economic downturns, my children are exempt from immorality, and as for me and my house, we are exempted from trouble. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
