DAY 16: THE COUNSEL OF THE LORD

There are many plans in a man’s heart, nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

Proverbs 19:21

How many plans did you have for this year? What goals did you set to achieve in this new season of your life? If you made plans for this year or this season and you have not taken time to ask God “What is your counsel on this matter, for this season or for my life?” You have set yourself up. God is not obligated to bring your plans to pass because you designed a wonderful vision board, bought a new journal, or attended vision board parties. Pie charts and bar charts are your charts if you never asked God what He planned for you.

If you skipped that step you might spend all year pursuing the wrong things. They might not turn out badly but you will not be in the will of God for you. It’s not too late to correct yourself and realign with God’s plan for you. You can ask Him to reveal His plan for you and align you with His counsel.

Declare

I am in alignment with the plans of God for my life this season and always. Lord, keep me in line with your counsel. May my life never deviate from your will, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.Psalm 33:11

Shalom
