Return I Will Restore

‘Therefore, this is what the Lord says: If you return, I will restore you; you will stand in My presence. And if you speak noble words, rather than worthless ones, you will be My spokesman. It is they who must return to you; you must not return to them.’

Jeremiah 15:19

The Lord says if you return I will restore. If you come back to Me, to how you used to be with Me, to your love for Me, to the position that I kept you or the assignment you are supposed to be doing –If you come back then I will restore to you everything you lost when you walked away.

I will restore you to the position you were when you walked away. My mercy can bring a restoration; to give back to you the things that you lost because you gave the enemy a foothold when you walked out of place.

When the prodigal son returned he expected to be turned into a slave, but he was restored to sonship. Even though he deserved to be a slave. That is the mercy of God at work in the life of the man who returns.

God Said So

Before the retreat started God convicted me of the areas I was disobedient out of fear and indiscipline, my heart longed for a change and I cried out to Him. I knew there were things I lost out on because I didn’t do what He said. After my devotion I sat down to get some work done, then I heard it clear as day, “If you return I will restore.” I have never seen or heard this scripture before. So I asked Google and found this verse. I thought it was for me but God said this is my promise to everyone who joins this retreat. If you return I will Restore!

Beloved, this is God’s promise to you. Everything you think is not working the way it’s supposed to work, If you can return to Him, He will restore. Whatever the enemy stole is not gone, I am just waiting for you to return to the place of prayer, the place of consistently studying The Word, the place of devotion, the place of obedience, I will take it back from the enemy and restore it to you more than it was before -seven fold.

Exercise & Prayer

Make a list of the areas in your life that you feel something is out of place and things are not how they’re supposed to be. Asses your devotion, prayer life, and every other area of your life. Cry out for the mercies of God to bring forth a restoration.

If you don’t know the exact area you stepped out and how to return, ask the Lord. When He reveals it to you, obey.

Now call the restoration forth in this season. Because He said it, He will do it. He is not a man that he should lie. Pray, in Jesus name. Amen.

Shalom.
