DAY 22: MARVELOUSLY HELPED
The “he” in our text today speaks of King Uzziah. He became king, at the age of 16. As a young king, he needed help to lead a great nation like Judah. So he started to seek the Lord in the days of Zechariah. I believe that Zechariah taught him in the ways of the Lord, and became sort of a mentor over him. As he sought the Lord, he began to prosper.
This is a word for somebody, if you seek the Lord, you will surely prosper even in things you are not qualified for. Because you lean on Him for help you will begin to experience His favor.
Part of Uzziah’s prosperity was the victory over his enemies that caused his fame to spread abroad, the towers he built, and his strong fighting men. These happened because “he was marvelously helped by God.” Marvelous help causes great wonder before men and it is unexplainable. God put his hand upon King Uzziah and made him a wonder.
Today, decree over yourself that you are marvelously helped by God. But before you do that, I want you to know that what you are doing is committing yourself to seeking God.
Declare and say,
I am marvelously helped by God throughout this season. God has made me a wonder to many. Every single thing that I touch in this season prospers. I am helped to overcome my enemies. I am helped to prosper in my business. I am helped in every venture that I get into, and in every position I find myself in this season, I experience the help of God.
Read Psalm 121.
