DAY 45: I BOLDLY SAY

So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

HEBREWS 13:6

What do you say boldly I can give you a couple of examples. The first is your name because you know it beyond reasonable doubt. Another is your country or nationality, almost everyone knows their country. I wanna believe that you also know your salvation status without a doubt.

That boldness to say comes from the assurance of that knowledge. When you are unsure of something you become uncertain and anxious to speak of it, so you mumble through the answers or you don’t speak confidently or as loudly because you are afraid that you are going to say something wrong.

In our text today, Paul declares “the Lord is our helper.” Because he knows without a doubt that when God said He will never leave us, He meant it. He was confident in God’s nature that he was unafraid.

I don’t know what you are boldly saying about your God, but I would like to encourage you to say some bold things, things that you’ve come to know about God. Here is an example.

Declare

I boldly say that the Lord is my help. I boldly say that the Lord is with me. I boldly say that the Lord is my defense. I boldly say that the Lord is my helper. I boldly say that the Lord is my covering, my stronghold, my rock, and my shield. I boldly say that the Lord is God and there is no one besides Him.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The LORD is for me among those who help me; Therefore I shall see my desire on those who hate me.  —Psalm 118:6-7. Shalom.
