DAY 43: I AM LOVED

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

JEREMIAH 31:3

God loves you. It might not feel like it, but He does. And His love is so tangible and real that even when you feel alone and unloved it feels your heart and satisfies your soul. Some of us didn’t feel the love of a mother or father, our family may have betrayed and abandoned us and there may not be any special someone in your life who says I love you but know this, God loves you and He is your special person. 

His death on the cross was the first expression of love but he didn’t stop there. God has often sent a love note when I needed it the most. Someone got me something I needed the most because the Holy Spirit asked them to. One time He said to ask for a birthday gift, and I did and He sent it to me through someone. God is romantic, take it from me, and those years when I was single, I called Him my boyfriend and He showed up as that till He gave me a husband.

It is not something I can explain or a lot of people can understand but God’s love is real. Whether or not you experienced some abandonment, neglect, rejection, or heartbreak, God loves you with an everlasting love. His love doesn’t have conditions or durations.

Declare

Whenever you feel unloved say this to yourself. I am loved, I am cared for. God has showered His love on me. I am not alone, God has prepared someone for me, and at the right time, He will bring them to me.

Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. —Isaiah 43:4
