DAY 37: GREATER IS IN ME
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
I JOHN 4:4
Let me introduce you to who is in you. You are carrying on the inside of you God, the creature of the universe. The one cloth with fire, covered in light. He who the earth bows to. At the sound of His voice, everything moves and gives way, even mountains skip as rams before His presence. Death and hell saw Him and had no power to withstand Him.
The earth hears of His arrival and quakes, The seas tremble when He moves, and all creatures in heaven, earth, and beneath the earth are unable to debate or challenge Him. That is a little hint of the God that is in you and with you. How dare you be afraid of what is coming against you? We are talking about the God that with the breath of his nostrils His enemies perish.
We are talking about the God that His thoughts become law, whose voice is as thunder. The heavens declare His glory and the firmament speaks of his power. How dare you be afraid of what is coming against you when the greater one is in you? Nothing can oppose Him and succeed. So nothing can oppose you and succeed because you are one with Him.
Elijah understood this truth that the greater one was in Him and so He refused to give in to fear when he woke up and found His house surrounded by a great army. He wasn’t even concerned or phased. He knew that those who were with him were more than those who were against him
Decree
Declare over the circumstance that you that is facing you right now and say, “I have the greater One in me and I will not be afraid of you.” Announce to every situation right now the greater One in me and I will not be afraid, I will overcome everything you throw at me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. —2 Kings 6:16-17
