DAY 38: GOD IS FOR ME

For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown.

EZEKIEL 36:9

God not only lives in you, He is also for you. Do you know what it means for somebody to be for you? It means that the person is on your side. It means that they are always after your benefit and good. If a fight were to break out, they would stand and defend you with everything on the inside of them. 

That is what God is saying to you, that He is for you. He is never going to turn against those who love Him. He can’t turn against His own. Since you are one with Christ, you are one with Him, It will be like turning against Himself. You and Him are inseparably one. 

For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. —Galatians 3:27-28

Think of it as a marriage, two become one. Even the law recognizes spousal privilege and they cannot make a wife testify against her husband, she has to choose to and the same applies to the husband. If you come for one you come for all. That is why no one can be against you, they will be going against God. No one can pitch themselves on the opposite side of God. 

So do not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against you. Do not be afraid of whatever is coming against you. God is on your side.

Declare

God is for me, I will not be afraid. Whatever sets itself against me has set itself against God and He will defend His own, He will defend me.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. Psalm 118:6-7
