DAY 113: MOULD ME
The Bible likens the Lord to a potter. A potter takes up clay, molds it, and brings something beautiful out of it. We are His handiwork and He has something on His heart when He created us. He pre-designed, predestined, and pre-proposed what He wanted us to become.
I desire daily that He forms me into what he had in mind before time. And that He molds and chisels things that are not supposed to be there until I become like Him. As a potter, God is intentional about every spin, every touch, and every mold. He is masterful and sometimes His process might not seem pleasant to the clay but we must trust His expertise.
When I say this prayer I ask “Lord, mould me into the woman you want me to be, into the wife you want for my husband, into the daughter that my parents would be proud of, the member of society, the leader, the worshipper, etc you want me to be.
Prayer
Father, I surrender myself to your masterful hands as clay that you will mould me into the picture that you had in your mind. Make me the wife. mother, worshipper, staff, and pastor that you have designed and ordained for me to be. Let your touch be evident in every area of my life as you mould me and purify me to look like the picture that you have prepared and predestined. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom.
