DAY 107: I CONDEMN EVERY TONGUE
Your tongue is used for licking, tasting, breathing, swallowing, and speaking. The average person swallows about 900 times a day but speaks about 16,000 words a day. It is pretty clear that speaking is the most frequent use of the tongue.
When a tongue rises against you, it is releasing words and those words are that of accusation and judgment and whether the words are typed in your comment section or spoken out loud they should be condemned.
It is your responsibility to condemn every tongue that rises up against you in judgment, not God’s. Whether that tongue arose against you in your job, family or someone somewhere said something, condemn it!
Speak the word of God from your own tongue and negate what was said. For “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted, But it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.” (Proverbs 11:11). Your tongue has power because you bear the name of Christ. So declare it with your tongue that is backed up by the blood and the name of Jesus.
Confession
Every negative word spoken in my direction and every tongue that laid accusation or to say a negative word in my direction. Today I condemn those negative words by the authority in the name and blood of Jesus. I decree that what they decreed shall not stand, only that which the Lord has spoken in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Shalom.
