DAY 103: DELIVER US FROM EVIL
”And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.“
Matthew 6:13 NKJV
The Lord that keeps you from temptation is the Lord that can deliver you from evil. Whether the evil is the corruption that is in you, in the country, or in the world. The evil could be the negative thoughts and intentions of people concerning you. It could also be that evil is the bad habit you have started to do that is detrimental to your life. God will deliver you from it.
We know that all that is evil stems from the evil one. So God will deliver you from the evil one and all of his wiles, schemes, guiles, and devices.
Pray
Lord, deliver me from evil and the evil one. Whatever the wiles or guiles may be, deliver me from them. My soul has escaped like a bird from the Fowler’s snare. That I would not fall prey to the enemy’s snare or trap. I am delivered from the evil one. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
