PRAY FOR YOU
Beloved, your heart can be weakened by experiences. One challenge after another and resilience is tested. The arrows and the weapons the enemy is throwing, it can overwhelm and it can begin to tell at you.

Remembrance is bringing something to your consciousness or awareness. It’s like arming your mind with new information. New because it was forgotten. A couple of weeks ago, we talked about remembering what God said, and we also talked about remembering His testimonies, but all these things are nothing compared to remembering who He is.
I’ve learnt that life challenges don’t wait until everything is perfect to occur. Your life does not come in categories or labeled boxes that allows you choose what challenge to handle when. Things just seem to unfold before you without any atom of warning. And this can be tough.
Fear can cripple us and make us stop in our tracks, prayer sends fear away. However, it can be so tempting to pray and do nothing with the excuse that we are trusting God. Nehemiah could have paused the project, But they went ahead to do what it is that they were there for.
Beloved, I called the prayer of Nehemiah dangerous because his request was fire for fire. He didn’t want them to go scot-free. He was angry at their audacity and this time he wasn’t about to let it slide.
People will show their jealousy, hatred, and anger by laughing at you, hoping that you will give up on your dreams and lose courage, and you can go back to not disturbing their system. We see this happening in our text today. Nehemiah and Israel are planning to rebuild the walls, and their enemies begin to laugh at them.
Beloved, your dream requires the diligence of research. Go around that wall, at night, in silence until you know what you are up against. Then and only then should you reveal your intention.
Can I give you a bit of practical spiritual advice? Keep quiet! Be slow to speak. Withhold info until it is necessary. Be intentional about how you give out information.
Beloved, you have influence in the place of prayer, you have access to the throne room. Start there. But you also have influence in other areas. Maybe not like Nehemaih but you have access to something. Use it!
Dear Abigail, I know that Nabal is not the best choice of a spouse and you may regret the alliance but as a woman of faith, you can still do what is right even if your husband is Nabal. Don’t let his foolishness turn you into a rebellious disrespectful wife. Do what is right before God. Ask God for wisdom on how to go about your peculiar situation
