DAY 2: ALL THINGS ARE NEW

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19

NEW means something you recently introduced or discovered. Also, something you have not experienced before, much like 2024, that you have not lived in before. A new thing often replaces something that was or used to be, it replaces the old. 

This means that sometimes we step into the new with the memories or residues of the old. But God is saying, if you want to walk into newness, you’re going to have to forget the old things. Everything in 2023 should be left in 2023 so that you can receive all that He’s prepared for you in 2024. The only thing you ought to remember is God’s goodness and His promises.

So declare,

I speak over my mind, every memory from my past season that has me stuck in the old be cleansed by the blood. And I speak that my mind is free of old memories, and former things, and is open to the new things God has in store for me.

I declare that I have walked into newness. I discover new ideas in this new season. New ways of doing things. I come in contact with new relationships that will stir me up and support me in this new season. All negativity from my past is gone, negative reports, habits, failures, and reputation are replaced with new and better thoughts, ideas, and reputation. I start to see that newness now. It springs forth now.

This I decree over myself today in the name of Jesus.
