DAY 146: OPEN HEAVENS

‘The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. ‘

Deuteronomy 28:12

The one thing a farmer needs is rain. Most of us in Nigeria are not full-time farmers. We may have a little edible plants garden in our home but we don’t depend on them for food. So if the plants don’t grow we head to the market and get what we need. So we may not fully comprehend how terrible it would be the windows of heaven shut and stopped pouring out.

The food we so easily buy will be beyond expensive if they are even available. It would be like owning a business and no one buys or having a job and not being paid for over six months. Open heavens are important to everyone and it is a gift only God can give. Without open heavens, the works of your hands will be done in futility and you will become impoverished, a borrower instead of a lender but God forbid.

The good treasures in heaven is beyond rain for a farmer. It is favour for the applicant, promotion for the faithful and abundant supply for the one in lack. If you live according to God’s law, He will open the windows of heaven over you.

Declare

The windows of heaven are open over me so I enjoy divine blessings. My business excels, I am favored in my job and my life is fruitful. The works of my hands are blessed, I lend I do not borrow. In Jesus name. Amen

Shalom
