DAY 129: MAY YOU BE REMEMBERED
”Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying: “I remember my faults this day. Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream.“
Genesis 41:9, 12 NKJV
Sometimes, remembrance can be what gets you a contract you never expected. Someone you helped out sometime in the past, all of a sudden, remembers you, your services, and your work ethic, and mentions you.
As an entrepreneur or vendor, being remembered could be the difference between selling your products or having them stay on the shelves. Being remembered at the right time is vital.
Example
Joseph helped two of his fellow inmates interpret their dreams and the butler forgot about him for two years. Even though Joseph asked him to speak about him to Pharoah. When he remembered, Joseph was moved from prisoner to prime minister.
Mordecai saved the king’s life but it was forgotten. When the king couldn’t sleep a book of remembrance was opened and he was honored.
May everyone who needs to remember you for good in this season be reminded by the Holy Spirit now in the name of Jesus.
Confession
May the Spirit of the Lord cause me to be remembered at the right time, in the right place, before the right people. I will be remembered. Mu business, our products, services, and diligence will be remembered. All the years I have put into faithful service in this company will be remembered. In Jesus’ name Amen.
