DAY 128: BUSINESS FAVOUR

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:3-4

You see, favor is something that you need for the works of your hands and if you run a business. it’s favor that makes people buy from you. Favor is what brings promotion and business growth. 

Someone that enjoyed a lot of favor was Queen Esther. Because of favor, the king made her queen in the place of Vashti. And God gave her favour and the sceptre was raised when she went to see the king uninvited. Joseph found favor in the eyes of Potiphar and you need favor before your bosses, clients, partners, and board of directors to remain in the position. 

Our text says that favor comes when you hold on to truth and mercy, that’s favor before God and men. That means you show mercy to the people who work with and for you. You are truthful, not deceptive or double-faced. That’s how you gain favor.

Confession

I have favor in my job/business. I’m a person of integrity and truth. My business operates on the principles of mercy and truth, and we experience favor before God and man. I have favor with all men I come in contact with –my customers, followers, colleagues, and bosses. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
