DAY 114: BLESS HIM ANYWAY
There are days we wake up and feel like praying, worshipping, or blessing the Lord but then there are some days when we don’t. Not because we are tired, late for work, or in a hurry (which are not good excuses), but because we are going through so much that we are not in the mood to worship God at all. This is the kind of day you have to remember God’s benefits.
Someone recently messaged me saying she’s tired of believing and seeing any result. She has prayed, fasted, confessed the word, and waited patiently for God to hear her and answer but He hasn’t. This my sister was having a had time blessing God. Her heart was clouded with the things God had not done and she failed to see all He had done and is doing.
Call a meeting
She needed to call her heart to order and remind her mind what God had done and all the benefits he daily loads her with. Then bless Him from your soul. That means to bless God from where we exercise freewill, imagination, emotions, and consciousness.
What will help us bless God even when we don’t feel like it Is the remembrance of all the benefits. He alone forgives all your iniquities, heals your disease, redeems your life from destruction, renews your life like the eagle and so much more.
Speak to your soul that may feel sad and moody this morning and tell it to bless God. Tell your emotions that it doesn’t get to decide. Tell everything within you to “Bless the Lord.”
Prayer
Father, I bless you this morning for all that you have done and I refuse to let my emotions dictate my worship. So with my thoughts, imagination, free will, and every organ in my body, I declare that you are good and worthy of my praise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom.
