DAY 78: I SHALL NOT DIE
This is for everyone who struggles with the fear of death. It’s called thanophobia and 42% of people have to deal with this. And sometimes the enemy brings this fear in us about other people and we become afraid of the death of others we care about. This fear can be overwhelming and most people hide it.
But God has promised that you shall not die. But you shall live to declare the works of the Lord. You declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living because in the grave there is no praise no dead thing is declaring the works of God. So you shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord on this earth.
God has promised you that you will live. It doesn’t matter what age the people before you died. The promise of God concerning you is that you shall not die but live. Declare that concerning yourself with confidence, “I shall not die but live.”
Say it in the face of that thing that is threatening your life. Be it a sickness, pain, hurt, or abuse. As you step out or come in you shall not die but you shall live.
Confession
With long life, You, O Lord, will satisfy me and show me Your salvation. It is not yet my time to go. I shall not die but live. I speak life over me and my house in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. –HEBREWS 2:14-15
