DAY 50: I SHALL NOT BE MOVED

I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

PSALM 16:8

If you want to be stable in every season of your life, then you have to set the Lord before you. The Lord as your focus is the only guarantee of stability and sustainability in life.

When you set the Lord always before you, it means that your eyes, your thoughts, and your mind are fixed on him. I remember working on my balance at the gym and the instructor asked me to pick a spot to keep my eyes on. It cannot be a moving spot, this will help your body stabilize and balance. The Lord is a rock and He does not move. So if you set your eyes on God, you will not be moved. And if you set your eyes on God, you will not be moved.

The Lord before you also means He’s leading you. Your life is stable when He is leading. Another reason you aren’t afraid or moved is because He is beside you. He’s with you.

if you set your eyes on him, you would experience an enormous uproar of his presence. It will be like you can touch Him because He’ll be right there by your side and you’ll be sensitive enough to notice it. 

Declare

I set my eyes on Jesus. I fix my heart on Him all the days of my life. I will not fix my eyes on the things of the world, the fears in my heart, or my flesh. Therefore I will not be moved. The Lord is with me, I will not be shaken.
